Those stones are still on the bridge and I myself lifted one in each hand on many occasions and one market day, I carried them across the bridge and back, some four to five yards - Donald Dinnie.

A fantastic end on 5/11/21 to the Famous Dinnie Stones saga for the 2021 season. Andy Black, Scotland`s strongest man managed a fantastic walk of 4ft 2ins. Andy's feat was witnessed by Brett Nicol, Jim & Rosemary Splaine, Lydia Nicol & the crowd of spectators and lifters in attendance.
